<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable radio terminal that can make its user facilitate confirmation of whether timer recording has been successfully implemented or not. <P>SOLUTION: A controller 18 starts recording together with alarming, on the basis of a schedule of time recording of a broadcast program.
