<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a pair of facing thrust metals and radial metal at low cost while facilitating component management. <P>SOLUTION: This half-segmented sliding bearing 13 comprises radial metal 11 and a thrust metal unit 12. The thrust metal unit 12 includes a pair of facing thrust metals 12a. A space between abutting ends of both thrust metals 12a are connected by a stay part 12b to integrate them. Since the radial metal 11 becomes an independent component relative to the thrust metal unit 12, only the radial metal 11 is commonly used for other regions to reduce component costs.
