<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door lock device in which a sliding door can be locked and unlocked smoothly, the generation of impact noise in closing the door is prevented and the sliding door can be opened and closed smoothly. <P>SOLUTION: A sliding door lock device comprises a lock piece body 2 which is axially supported to freely turn up and down within a side end part 11 of a sliding door 1 and in which a lock part 21 formed in its distal end portion is freely protruded and retracted from the side end part 11, and a lock receiving recess 3 which is provided to face the side end part 11 of the sliding door 1 and receives the lock part 21 of the lock piece body 2 in such a manner that the lock part 21 is put in and put out freely. Locking/unlocking is performed by freely removably locking the lock part 21 of the lock piece body 2 into a lock receiving part 31 formed in an opening inner edge portion of the lock receiving recess 3. In the vicinity of the lock receiving recess 3, a first magnet body 4 is provided, and a second magnet body 5 which is repulsive with respect to the first magnet body 4 is provided in a pedestal end portion 22 that becomes a side opposed to the lock part 21 with respect to an axially supported portion 23 of the lock piece body 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
