<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate marking work using laser beams even in a bright place. <P>SOLUTION: The marking work is performed by a laser marking unit placed on a floor surface at a construction site or the like, and an auxiliary tool for the laser marking unit that reflects at a separated place laser light emitted from the laser marking unit for projecting the laser light on a reflection surface and can be carried to any places. The auxiliary tool is constituted by a base and a laser light reflecting mirror body held by the base, and a convex mirror is provided at a center part in a laser light reflecting area of the laser light reflecting mirror body. An irregular reflection mirror extends that is composed of edge prisms in one direction adjacent to or a periphery of the convex mirror.
