INK, INKJET RECORDING METHOD, AND INK CARTRIDGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an ink which can satisfy at high level the storage stability of a self-dispersible organic pigment-containing ink and improves color-developing properties in an image recorded on a regular paper or the like; an ink cartridge using the ink; and an inkjet recording method.

SOLUTION: The ink includes a pigment, a resin, and a salt. A self-dispersible organic pigment is used as the pigment, which has a surface charge amount measured by a colloidal titration of 0.9 to 1.5 μmol/m2. The resin exhibits an acid value of 100 to 160 mg-KOH/g. The ink has a predetermined salt. The ink cartridge using the ink and the inkjet recording method are also provided.
