#CMT# #/CMT# The anchor has an input arm (10) provided with an input pallet (11) including an impulse jaw (11c) located between an impulse plane (11a) and a rear (11b) of the input pallet, where the jaw possesses a convex radius of curvature. An output arm (12) is provided with an output pallet (13) including an impulse jaw (13c) located between an impulse plane (13a) and a rear (13b) of the output pallet, where the impulse jaw of the output pallet possesses a convex radius of curvature. The radius of curvature of the impulse jaw of the input and/or output pallets is equal to or greater than 7 micrometers. #CMT# : #/CMT# The anchor is formed from a single piece of material such as silicon, diamond, glass, plastic and ruby or sapphire. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Anchor for an escapement used to maintain and count oscillations of a hairspring, of movement of a timepiece (all claimed) i.e. watch. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The anchor can resist to chipping while maintaining ideal efficiency. The configuration of the anchor allows width of the output pallet to be increased for safety reasons. The design of the anchor allows the escapement to operate without lubrication so as to improve efficiency and reliability of the escapement while avoiding impacts of the escapement. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a plan view of an anchor. 10 : Input arm 11 : Input pallet 11a : Impulse plane of input pallet 11b : Rear of input pallet 11c : Impulse jaw of input pallet 12 : Output arm 13 : Output pallet 13a : Impulse plane of output pallet 13b : Rear of output pallet 13c : Impulse jaw of output pallet. |
