<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque sensor which can more exactly sense magnetic variation and can be arranged in exact size and shape by magnetizing a magnet in a vertical direction and arranging a stator by simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention provides a torque sensor which includes: a magnet connected to one of an input shaft and an output shaft of a steering and magnetized in a shaft direction to be formed in a ring shape; and a stator formed of a ring-like body to be connected to the other of the input shaft and the output shaft to be separately arranged in the shaft direction from the magnet and a plurality of holes penetrating the body in the vertical direction.
