<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present a driving instability state to a driver even if leaning of ordinary driving characteristics has not been completed. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle information providing-device includes: a first driving instability determining-part that estimates a driving instability level from difference amounts among a plurality of travel-state distribution in different time ranges on the basis of acquired travel state data; and a second driving instability determining part that estimates the driving instability level by processing different from that of the first driving instability determining part. Either one of the instability levels estimated by the first and second driving instability determining-parts is selected according to a leaning level SD that indicates a matching degree between travel-state distribution calculated by a first travel-state distribution calculation part and the driving characteristics of the driver.
