<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a circulating pump from being adversely affected by discharge pressure of fuel in the circulating pump when switching the fuel fed to a diesel engine from a high-viscosity one to low-viscosity one. <P>SOLUTION: A supply fuel pressure control device 21, which is employed in a fuel supply device 11 that can circulate the fuel in a circulating line 26 by the circulating pump 15 and supply the fuel to an internal combustion engine 12 coupled to the circulating line 26, includes a second pressure regulation valve 18 for regulating, by the circulating pump 15, supply pressure of the fuel supplied to the internal combustion engine 12 and a fuel regulation operating part 30 for controlling the second pressure regulation valve 18 in such a manner that the supply pressure of the fuel supplied to the internal combustion engine 12 becomes lower than or equal to the lower one between required pressure of fuel needed to generate a preset output power in the internal combustion engine 12 and an allowable discharge pressure by which the circulating pump 15 can discharge fuel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
