<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential transmission line and a communication apparatus using the same, with the suppression of cost increase and the suppression of undesired electromagnetic wave radiation caused by a switching noise of a drive circuit that outputs a differential transmission signal. <P>SOLUTION: The differential transmission line, which transmits the differential transmission signal output from the drive circuit that drives at a predetermined bit rate, includes: a grounding conductor layer; a pair of transmission line conductors; a conductor film disposed between the grounding conductor layer and the pair of transmission line conductors; and a via hole for connecting the grounding conductor layer to the conductor film. The differential transmission line includes a linear region in which the pair of transmission line conductors extends with a first width mutually in parallel, and a band-rejection filter region, in which the pair of transmission line conductor is overlaid with the conductor film in a plan view and extends with a second width, narrower than the first width, mutually in parallel, to attenuate the common mode of the differential transmission signal at any one of frequencies of a natural number multiple of a frequency corresponding to the predetermined bit rate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
