<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack capable of achieving high safety and long-term reliability by reducing a charging voltage when a battery temperature is within a predetermined temperature range inside the battery pack. <P>SOLUTION: The battery pack includes: one or a plurality of cells; a control section for controlling cell charging discharging; a temperature detection section for measuring a cell temperature and supplying measured temperature information to the control section; and a discharge control switch and a charging control switch disposed in a current path to the cell and respectively controlled by the control section.
