<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection head that can suppress the remaining of air bubbles in a flow passage when liquid is filled in a flow passage having a connection flow passage for connecting each flow passage through which the liquid flows in crossing directions, and to provide a flow passage member. <P>SOLUTION: The flow passage formed in the liquid ejection head includes: the first flow passage through which the liquid flows in a first direction; the second flow passage through which the liquid flows in a direction intersecting with the first direction; and the connection flow passage that connects the first flow passage to the second flow passage. When the liquid ejection head is used, a cross-sectional opening of the connection flow passage in a direction along the bottom surface of the first flow passage has a nonuniform-shaped diameter passing through the gravity center of the opening.
