<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method that can manufacture a can body including a cylindrical wall and a neck part having the smaller diameter by one work stroke in one working direction. <P>SOLUTION: The device (10) includes a drawing ring (27) that can be driven and is used for the deep drawing of a cup part from a round disk or plate shape material (32) in a first stage of the work stroke. After the end of this first stage, the cup part is drawn into a working process channel (38) by using an ironing process mandrel (59) to be formed to a workpiece in which the ironing is processed. Finally, a stretch forming work mandrel (58) is let out of a guide recessed part (60) of an ironing process mandrel (59), and synchronizes with a forming work depression part (48) of a dormer (45), and forms a part of the neck part at least in the stretch drawing stage of the work stroke. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
