PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate a resin pellet from conveyance water by rotation of a rotary shaft having a feeding function provided in a horizontally placed cylindrical screen.

SOLUTION: The method and the device for dehydrating resin pellet slurry can obtain the resin pellet (6) having conveyance water (7) of the resin pellet slurry (A) supplied from an inlet (1A) substantially completely removed by rotatingly driving the rotary shaft (30) having the feeding function (31) inside the cylindrical screen (8) horizontally provided in a dehydrating screen body (1) by a rotary driving body (32).
