摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor cooling system in which a quantity of emergency cooling water required for core cooldown can be injected to reactor primary cooling system piping surely and urgently and in the case where cooling-down could be made well at first but a serious accident resulted from disabling a motor from being used for subsequent cooling-down, in the present reactor cooling system, a compression cylinder (1) is used for cooling, thereby carrying the compression cylinder (1) anywhere and eliminating the need of motive force. <P>SOLUTION: In a reactor cooling system, the compression cylinder (1) is inverted, and a liquid (1a) that is content of the compression cylinder (1) is injected from a branch pipe (2a) attached in a lower part of a reactor (2). In the branch pipe (2a), the inside of the reactor (2) is cooled down by a cooling pipe (2c) via an orifice (2b) and the cooling pipe (2c) passes through an upper part of the reactor (2), thereby discharging cooling water into the atmosphere. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
