<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an organic EL display that repairs a defect caused by foreign matter mixed in an organic layer in such a case during the manufacture of the organic EL display. <P>SOLUTION: When a defect part made by the foreign matter is repaired by insulating a foreign matter circumference by irradiating the foreign matter mixed in the organic layer with a laser beam, the focus of the laser beam is defined from a working mark by the laser beam and a light emission state after pixels in the circumference of a defective pixel are irradiated with the laser beam while the focus of the laser beam is shifted, and the foreign matter is irradiated with the laser beam having the defined focus so as to insulate the foreign matter part without damage to parts other than the foreign matter circumference, thereby repairing the defect made by the foreign matter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
