METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ADJUSTING GENERAL COMMUNICATION CHANNEL RATE

<p>A method for adjusting general communication channel (GCC) rate is provided in the present invention, which comprises: a service transmitting unit sends its GCC information to a two-level network unit; the two-level network unit determines the maximal GCC rate for transmitting monitoring information according to the GCC information. Correspondingly, an apparatus for adjusting GCC rate is also provided in the present invention. The present invention can solve the problem of packet loss in wavelength division monitoring system which due to GCC service bandwidth is less than the bandwidth of two-level network in electro-monitoring channels, and the stability and reliability in wavelength division monitoring system are improved.</p>
