The method involves performing ongoing quantitative determination of total proportion of water and glass binder of circulated reclaimed sand by X-ray fluorescence. One-time provision of reclaimed sand is performed under manufacturing conditions of sand core or mold and soluble/insoluble fraction of water and glass binder. The ratio of soluble/insoluble fraction of water and glass binder in reclaimed sand and entire portion of water and glass binder in reclaimed sand is determined. The portion of water and glass binder is determined during manufacture of sand core.
