The connector has a resilient and/or plastically deformable compensation region (124) interconnected with a contact region (116) for connecting with a cell terminal (108a) and another contact region (118) for connecting with another cell terminal (108b) such that the contact regions are movable relative to each other. The compensation region comprises two slat-shaped or web-like compensation portions, which are extended along a connection direction (110) of the contact regions and separated from each other in transverse to the connection direction. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a cell connector.
