<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing concrete, in which a hardly soluble protective film is formed using an expansion inhibitor for concrete aggregate on the surface of metal aluminum in molten slag aggregate to make fine metal aluminum harmless, strength reduction due to concrete expansion is reliably suppressed, hydrogen is not produced during formation of the hardly soluble protective film, and a heating/drying step is not required, so that heat energy and time necessary for heating/drying can be cut and a manufacturing cost is very low. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing concrete includes: treating concrete aggregate composed of metal aluminum-containing molten slag aggregate with an expansion inhibitor containing an alkali metal acetate and/or an alkaline earth metal acetate; and manufacturing concrete by directly using the resulting expansion inhibiting concrete aggregate at ordinary temperature without heating/drying or by using the aggregate after leaving it as it is for a required time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
