<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peptide being the pathologic condition marker of a disease causing the accumulation of Aβ in the brain of Alzheimer's disease, mild cognitive deficit, or the like; to provide a DNA encoding the same; to provide a method for producing the peptide, to provide an antibody; to provide a method for screening a compound bound to the peptide, to provide an examination medicine for the disease, to provide a method for examining the disease, and to provide a remedy thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The peptide comprises a sequence of any one of the following sequences (1)-(3), and being a pathogenic condition marker.
