<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtualization technology for adding physical resources without changing the number of servers registered in a cluster. <P>SOLUTION: In a resource management method in a computer system including a plurality of computers providing hosts for executing a virtualization program for managing a virtual computer, and a management computer, the hosts include a physical host for executing the virtualization program by a processor and a logical host for executing the virtualization program by a processor allocated to a logical section. The management computer includes a resource management unit for managing the physical resources that the cluster has. The cluster includes a composite cluster comprising one or more physical hosts and one or more logical hosts. The method includes the steps of: specifying the logical host constituting the composite cluster when physical resources of the composite cluster are insufficient, by the resource management unit, and changing an allocation amount of the physical resources to the logical hosts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
