PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate information reflecting availability of communication between adjacent nodes in a network.

SOLUTION: An inter-adjacent node communication availability detection device 1 comprises: a communication part 11; a communication information storage part 12 in which communication information related to each end node is stored; a node information storage part 13 in which node information related to each node is stored; an edge information storage part 14 in which edge information related to each set of nodes adjoining each other (referred to as adjacent nodes) is stored; information processing part 15 for making the edge information include a communication-available value or a communication-unavailable value based on the communication information storage part 12 and the node information storage part 13; a determination part 16 for performing various kinds of determination by using the node information storage part 13 and the edge information storage part 14; and a graphical user interface (GUI) part 17 for prompting an action by a user of a node N5 by performing display on a display part of a node N4.
