<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety protection device for an elevator, which can reliably maintain safety and reliability for an elevator. <P>SOLUTION: The safety protection device for an elevator includes: a processor 2 for outputting a control signal to the equipment related to an elevator safety device based on software; a controller 4 for controlling the output state of the control signal so that the equipment is operated under a state simulating a safety side failure when a periodical inspection for functions of the processor 2 and the equipment is not performed for a predetermined period or when a tampering is made to the software; and a monitor 4 for monitoring the controller 4 for controlling the output state of the control signal so that the equipment is operated under the state simulating the safety side failure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
