<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a tie rod end in which a manufacturing time and a manufacturing cost are suppressed by a simple manufacturing process to efficiently manufacture the tie rod end, and to provide the tie rod end that can secure necessary mechanical strength by also the simple manufacturing process. <P>SOLUTION: The worker who manufactures a tie rod end 100 sets a material 90 of the tie rod end 100 in a forging machine at a manufacturing process 1. Next, the worker molds a socket part 106, a female screw connection 103, and a tool fit part 105 respectively in a manufacturing process 2. Next, the worker molds a bent part 102 and a compression deformation 104 are molded by using a bent part and compression deformation die 94 for an intermediate formed body 90a, and performs the finishing/molding of a body 101 in a manufacturing process 3.
