<p>A method for implementing a location service of a mobile terminal, comprising: the mobile terminal transmitting to a service terminal a location-based service (LBS) service request; the service terminal performing a corresponding processing on the basis of the type of the LBS service request, and returning the processing result to the mobile terminal. Also disclosed is a system for implementing the location service of the mobile terminal. The present invention requires only the mobile terminal and the service terminal to perform an adaptive software upgrade for implementation of the LBS-related service, thus providing improved versatility, and reducing costs of similar services, thereby further promoting the use of mobile terminal LBS service, and enhancing usability and user experience of the mobile terminal.</p> |
