<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater capable of accurately detecting the temperature of high temperature water in a pipe on a high temperature water side without being affected by convection in a check valve, and to provide the water heater capable of improving flexibility for designing and reducing manufacturing costs. <P>SOLUTION: The water heater 1 includes a mixing means 10 for discharging mixed and temperature-controlled hot water from water and high temperature water. The water heater 1 includes a temperature detecting means 31 disposed on a rising pipe portion 30c of an L-shaped portion 30 of a pipe 5a on a high temperature water side connected to the mixing means 10. The temperature detecting means 31 is disposed at a position where the pipe volume from the mixing means 10 to the temperature detecting means 31 is larger than the inner volume of the mixing means 10 and at the position higher than a height position corresponding to an upper end of a mixing chamber 12 of the mixing means 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
