<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch switch capable of achieving highly sensitive sensing. <P>SOLUTION: In the capacitance type touch switch including a plurality of strip electrode bodies 6 formed on an insulating layer, the plurality of strip electrode bodies are arranged in the lateral direction of each strip electrode body in such a state that a first insulating area 7 is arranged between the strip electrode bodies, and configured to electrically insulate a gap between the adjacent strip electrode bodies in a plan view, and each strip electrode body includes: a plurality of touch electrode parts 8 arranged in the longitudinal direction; and a second insulating area 9 arranged between the touch electrodes, and configured to electrically insulate a gap between the adjacent touch electrode parts with both ends connected to the first insulating area.
