<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand a range allowing the sequences of workpieces to be interchanged while forming a structure for storing the workpieces in a plurality of rows of sorting shelves from a single line of transport path. <P>SOLUTION: This sorting facility for workpieces includes a transport table 1 before sorting for transporting the workpieces in a line, and a plurality of rows of sorting shelves 3a-3c each capable of storing the plurality of workpieces in a line, wherein the transport table 1 before sorting can transport a workpiece in either of a forward direction and a backward direction. When a first sorting shelf to an X-th sorting shelf are arranged from the upstream side in the forward direction of the transport table 1 before sorting, a procedure for transporting a preceding workpiece in the forward direction to be positioned in front of an (x+1)th sorting shelf (x: 0 to X-1), a procedure for transporting the next workpiece in the forward direction to be entered in a x-th sorting shelf, and a procedure for transporting the preceding workpiece evacuated in front of the (x+1)th sorting shelf in the backward direction to be entered in the x-th sorting shelf are performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
