<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grain drying device capable of drying grain without losing a life of the grain and, moreover, with satisfactory efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A mechanical chamber 2 is disposed next to a drying chamber 1 and a cooling type dehumidifying device 7 is disposed in the mechanical chamber 2. An external air taking-in fan 6 and the dehumidifying device 7 are arranged in the mechanical chamber. The dehumidifying device comprises a compressor 10, an LP gas engine 9 which drives the compressor, a condenser 11, an expansion valve 7 and an evaporator 6, the whole is joined in a loop state and refrigerant such as chlorofluorocarbon is enclosed into a pipe system. The external air that is taken in is caused to pass through the dehumidifying device, is turned to be dry air and is caused to flow into the drying chamber. Unhulled rice is caused to load on a belt conveyer, moderately moves in the drying chamber and, meanwhile, is exposed to dry air and moisture is removed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
