An article for smokers comprises a main body (1) of elongate form exhibiting a first end (11) and a second end (12). The main body (1) has a cavity (4) accessible from outside at the second end (12) adapted for receiving the lit end portion of a cigarette. An element (5), which is associated to the second end (12), is provided with a base (51) and with a cutting profile (52) for cutting the cigarette. The element (5) is translatable with respect to the second end (12) of the main body (1) between an open position (A) of the cavity (4) of the main body (1) and a closed position (C) of the cavity (4), with the displacement of the element (5) from the open position (A) to the closed position (C) determining the cutting of the cigarette by means of the cutting profile (52). |
