The electric energy generating device (1) has a shaft (2) that is rotatably mounted at energy generation units (3a,3b) for generating electrical energy, and is driven by a drive unit. The lever arms (4a,4b) are driven by lever arm drive units (5a,5b). The sides of the lever arms are provided opposite to the sides of the rotatable shaft and with the sides of the lever arm drive units. The lever arms are provided in the form of rotors having rotor blades. The rotors and electric energy generation units are alternately arranged along the shaft. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a use of cooling tower of abandoned nuclear power plant as truncated casing; and (2) a method for storing electric energy. |
