摘要 <p>The system (101) has a brake resistor (103) conveying electrical energy by an electric motor e.g. three-phase electric motor, during an electromotive braking. An electrical energy storage unit (105) stores the electrical energy. A direct current converter (107) i.e. step up- and/or down converter, is connected with an inverter i.e. three-phase pulse inverter, of the electric motor. A switching device (109) selectively connects the regulator with the storage unit or resistor. A controller controls a switching device depending on charging state of the storage unit. The switching device is selected from mechanical switching device, electrical switching device, electronics switching device, voltage dependent resistor, thyristor, break-over-device switching device, reversible switching device, or transistor i.e. bipolar transistor such as insulated gate bipolar transistor.</p>
