The arc guide has a base C-arm (1) and a telescopic C-arm (2) telescopically arranged correspondingly by a roller bearing. The roller bearing includes a guide carriage with an endless rolling-channel into which a rolling element rotates, where the rolling element rotates in arcuate tracks of the guide carriage, and the arcuate tracks of the guide carriage are parallel to each other. The base C-arm is slidably mounted on a ceiling suspension (3) by the guide carriage, where the guide carriage is mounted on the ceiling suspension.
