The method involves supplying a material web in a device for manufacturing a piece of cloth e.g. T-shirt, where the material web is provided with two plastic fibers. The material web is connected with another material web in accordance to a production pattern with a production unit by heat application along a connecting line of the production pattern. The material webs are sectioned according to the production pattern along a sectional line, where the connected and sectioned material webs form front-and rear sides (1, 2) of the piece of cloth. An independent claim is also included for a device for manufacturing a piece of cloth.
