<p>Disclosed are a method, device and terminal for deleting a character of a terminal with a touch screen. The method includes the steps of: detecting the contact with a touch screen and acquiring the coordinate information about the first contact point; acquiring the coordinate information about the last contact point according to the contact; acquiring the information about the character to be deleted according to the coordinate information about the first contact point and the coordinate information about the last contact point; and performing a delete operation on the character to be deleted. The character on the mobile phone with a touch screen can be deleted rapidly during the delete operation process of the character, and the operation step is simple, taking up fewer system resources and improving user experience.</p> |
