<p>Disclosed is a capacity expansion/contraction method and device based on protection switching. The method includes: performing resource locking on the service currently borne on a capacity expansion/contraction path related to a selected link and device with the capacity thereof to be expanded and contracted; switching the service on capacity expansion/contraction path to a protection path; and expanding/contracting the capacity of a physical link, and issuing to a related node device the routing information and service information about the related node of the link with expanded/contracted capacity, and switching the currently borne service to a working path with expanded/contracted capacity, and releasing the resource lock. By way of the present invention, the capacity expansion/contraction of the continuous service is realized and it is ensured that the service will not be affected during the capacity expansion/contraction process.</p> |
