<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system, an image processing apparatus, an information processing apparatus, and control method and program therefor that provide a user with an authentication screen appropriate for an authentication device that is connected to the image processing apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The present image processing apparatus generates a log-in request including authentication device information indicating an authentication device for authenticating a user that is connected to the image processing apparatus when a log-in is requested by the user and notifies an information processing apparatus thereof.
