<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication apparatus that suppresses a degradation of a radio transmission characteristic at low temperatures, for example, at a start of the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A radio communication apparatus 101 includes: an amplification section 25 for receiving and amplifying a transmission signal to be transmitted to another apparatus; an attenuation section 62 capable of attenuating the transmission signal output to the amplification section 25; and a temperature detection section 61 for detecting a temperature.
