<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a friction resistance of small ball of a ball bearing, and an acoustic pressure while it is rolling. <P>SOLUTION: The ball bearing includes: a housing 10 having a concave 11 the inner surface of which is formed to be a spherical guide surface 13: a large ball 40 stored in the concave 11; the plurality of small balls 30 arranged between the large ball 40 stored in the concave 11 and the guide surface 13, and supporting the large ball 40 to be freely rotatable; an annular lid member 50 closing the peripheral edge part of opening of the concave 11; and a retainer 20 swingably arranged along the guide surface 13 in the concave 11 and holding the plurality of small balls 30 to be freely rotatable and in the condition of non-contact with each other. Because the small balls 30 are held freely rotatably by the retainer 20 in the condition of non-contact with each other, and the retainer 20 is swingable along the guide surface 13, the friction resistance of the small balls 30 following the rotation of the large ball 40 while they are rolling, is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
