<p>A front structural body of a vehicle body comprises at least a fiber-reinforced resin and includes, as constituent elements of the structural body, at least: an upper extending in a vehicle width direction in an upper portion; a lower extending in the vehicle width direction in a lower portion; two sides connected to the ends of the upper and the lower in the vehicle width direction and extending in an up-down direction; and upper sides extending from the ends of the upper toward the rear of the vehicle body. At least one of a center stay extending in the up-down direction and linking the upper and the lower and a side stay extending in an inclined direction and linking the upper and the sides is added to the structural body. The added stay includes a weak portion that is weakened against external force applied from the front of the vehicle body, compared to the other portions of the stay. By providing the added stay itself with the weak portion, appropriately weakened strength or rigidity can be obtained in a vehicle body front-rear direction for protecting pedestrians, while desired strength or rigidity is ensured in a vehicle body up-down direction.</p> |
