<p>In conventional remote operation systems, there is a possibility of a remote operation process being generated even when a terminal being operated is in an emergency. The terminal being operated transmits, to a relay server, acceptance state information indicating the acceptance state for remote operation. Upon receiving a remote operation request from an operating terminal, the relay server determines whether to permit remote operation performed on the basis of access permission information containing a combination of the terminal being operated and the operating terminal for which remote operation is permitted, and also determines, on the basis of the acceptance state information, whether the terminal being operated is currently accepting remote operation. The relay server transmits, to the terminal being operated, a control message relating to the remote operation on the basis of the results of the determinations, and the terminal being operated provides a service on the basis of the control message.</p> |
