<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of forming an image, while suppressing the degradation of image quality, in various sheet conveyance states. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 10 includes a loop detection device detecting the deflection of a sheet between a transfer member 5 and a fixing device FX and a control part for the sheet feeding speed of the fixing device FX, the loop detection device includes sheet deflection detection sensors BS1 and BS2 corresponding to sheet conveyance paths 31 and 32 respectively, and the control part controls the sheet feeding speed of the fixing device FX to a fixing device sheet feeding speed previously set according to a combination, so as to obtain normal toner image transfer and normal toner image fixation, on the basis of a combination of ranks in the detection result of each deflection detection sensor, the size of the sheet whose deflection is detected, the conveyance path of the sheet whose deflection is detected, and the scheduled number of image forming times of the sheet whose deflection is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
