<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly distribute washing water over laundry from a washing water circulation mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: A washing machine includes an inner tub serving as a washing/spin-drying tub rotatably provided within an outer tub storing washing water; a rotary blade board located in a bottom within the inner tub and rotatably provided therein; and a washing water circulation mechanism circulating the washing water within the outer tub so as to be sprinkled from above the inner tub into the inner tub. The washing water circulation mechanism is formed of a circulation pump, a circulation path and a water spray nozzle 34 provided above the inner tub. The water spray nozzle is a cylinder 34a having a central axis extending in an approximately vertical direction and includes a water inlet 34b tangentially connected to an outer circumference surface of the cylinder; a first discharge port 34c formed in a circular shape and provided in the center of a bottom surface of the cylinder; and a second discharge port 34d opened in an approximately horizontal direction in the outer circumference surface of the cylinder. The water spray nozzle generates a swirling flow of the washing water flowing from the water inlet into the cylinder, and utilizes the centrifugal force caused by the swirling flow to spray the washing water through the first discharge port and the second discharge port. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
