<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor implementing stabilization of exposure control of a camera. <P>SOLUTION: In the image processor 100, image acquiring means 140 acquires an image 30 imaged by imaging means 11 at an image acquisition rate higher than an image acquisition rate for face collation. Face detecting means 141 detects a face part of a person from the image 30 acquired by the image acquiring means 140. Face image normalization means 143 normalizes the face part detected by the face detecting means 141 to a prescribed size and acquires a normalized face image. Face part luminance information acquiring means 144 acquires an average luminance value of the face part in the normalized face image. Exposure control value determining means 147 determines an exposure control value 50 of the imaging means 11 based on the average luminance value.
