<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caliper brake device for a vehicle, the device which prevents the wear and breakage of the caliper brake device caused by vibration. <P>SOLUTION: The caliper brake device for the vehicle has a brake shoe 7 which imparts a friction force to a disk 6 by slide-contacting with the disc, a caliper body 10 supported to the vehicle, and an actuator 60 which push-presses the brake shoe 7 to the disk 6. The actuator 60 has an elastic membrane 75 fixed to the caliper body 10, a drive pressure chamber 63 which is defined by the elastic membrane 75 and supplied with fluid, a valve 30 which leads the fluid to the drive pressure chamber 63, and a piston 65 interposed between the elastic membrane 75 and the brake shoe 7. The piston 65 makes the brake shoe 7 slide-contact with the disk 6 by an effect that the fluid is supplied to the drive pressure chamber 63 and the elastic membrane 75 is swollen to the side of the brake shoe 7, and the valve 30 leads the fluid to the drive pressure chamber 63 at braking, and limits the fluid from being discharged from the drive pressure chamber 63 at the release of the braking. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
