<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and rapidly prevent output control of a vehicle from being performed without being expected by a driver. <P>SOLUTION: An output control device of the vehicle includes an engine output reducing means 4 for reducing engine output when an accelerator operation and a brake operation are simultaneously performed. The output control device also includes an accelerator detection means 1 for detecting that the accelerator operation is performed, a brake detection means 2 for detecting that the brake operation is performed, a braking request estimation means 5 for estimating a driver's braking request intention, and a standby-time setting means 6 for setting operation standby time until the engine output is reduced by operating the engine output reducing means 4, from the time point of the detection of the simultaneous performance of the accelerator operation and the brake operation, depending on the braking request intention. When the braking request estimation means 5 estimates that the driver's braking request intention is weak, the operation standby time is set longer than when the braking request estimation means estimates that the driver's braking request intention is strong. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
