<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate valve in which a valve plate is easily attached/detached by an operation from an opening side enabling taking-out of the valve plate from a valve box, the valve plate is strongly fixed on the base end side and leading end side of the valve plate mounting portion of the valve rod, and the posture of the valve plate is made stable. <P>SOLUTION: In a gate valve, a valve plate 6 is fixed to the valve plate mounting portion 10 of a valve rod 9 to open and close. In the gate valve, the valve plate is provided with a mounting hole 8 for inserting the valve rod, the valve plate and the joint flat surfaces 8a and 10a of the valve rod, which are brought into close contact with each other in the hole, are joined, the valve plate and the joint flat surfaces of the valve rod are brought into press-contact with each other on the base end side of the valve plate by the wedge effect of the inclined surface 11 on the base end side of the valve plate mounting portion 10, a coupling plate 14 is fixed to the leading end part 9a of the valve rod and the leading-end side end surface 6c of the valve plate by screws 15 and 16 to couple them, and by the press-contact mechanism of the coupling plate for bringing both joint flat surfaces into press-contact with each other, the joint flat surfaces are brought into press-contact with each other also on the leading end side of the valve plate and the valve rod. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
