<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support an appropriate drive operation when supporting drive on the basis of images of a plurality of cameras. <P>SOLUTION: A drive support system includes lane change support means for, when an operation of a direction indicator switch is detected during drive support of lane maintenance, recognizing a vehicle to be obstacle for lane change from an image for which a vehicle rear part in the same direction as the direction in which a direction indicator is operated is imaged by second imaging means or third imaging means, when it is determined that there is no vehicle to be an obstacle, instructing lane maintenance support means to change a lane to maintain to an adjacent lane in the direction in which the direction indicator is operated to change the lane, and when it is determined that there is the vehicle to be an obstacle, suppressing the lane change, performing standby until there is no more vehicle to be an obstacle, and then canceling suppression of the lane change. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
