<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination system capable of calculating electrical power consumption of a lighting apparatus regardless of the number of lamps of a light source. <P>SOLUTION: The illumination system includes a lighting apparatus 2 having a light source 22, light control sections 3 each having a lamp-number input section 33 to which a piece of information on the number of lamps of the light source 22 provided to the lighting apparatus 2 which is to be controlled to control the level of light from the light source 22, a master unit 1 which transmits a light control signal representing a light control ratio of the light source 22 to the respective light control sections 3, a storage section 35 which stores a power data table representing a relationship between the light control ratio and the electrical power consumption per lamp of the light source 22, and a control section 32 (power calculation section) calculating electrical power consumption of the lighting apparatus 2. The respective light control sections 3 control the level of the light emitted from the light source 22 based on the light control signal transmitted from the master unit 1. The control section 32 calculates the electrical power consumption of the lighting apparatus 2 based on the power data table, the light control ratio of the light source 22 for controlling the light level by the respective light control sections 3 and the lamp-number information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
